How do all those plants flower out-of-season at the Philadelphia Flower Show? It’s a combination of art and science, and it has its successes and challenges. The magic happens at Meadowbrook Farm. Join John Story as he leads us through the greenhouses, highlighting the unusual plants he is growing for the displays you will see at Bella Italia in just a few weeks. You will see it first here, and learn all the fascinating intricate details that are addressed on a daily basis, a horticultural balancing act that has to be ready for Opening Day on March 1. Fee: $18 PHS members, $23 non-members.
