Crowd-favorite Camden City Garden Club, Inc. (also known as the Camden Children’s Garden) celebrates the original Montessori school in Rome with their interactive, engaging exhibit.
Designer Mike Devlin led me through the display, pointing out all the small details that add up to an amazing attraction. There’s a grape arbor with tot-size patio furniture below, a statue of Saint Francis of Assisi, and mouthwatering fig and citrus trees. Michael also highlighted the vegetable garden, saying, “In these tough times, I think there will be a renewed interest in growing food at home.”
Little ones will also be interested in fossil gingko and fern rubbings and a fun exercise translating English words into Italian. If you’re bringing kids (or grandkids!) to the Show, this is one not to miss!
