I recently read a review for a book that ties in perfectly with the upcoming Flower Show theme. Written by Jerry Camarillo, it’s called “My Favorite Place on Earth: Celebrated People Share Their Travel Discoveries.”
Each chapter highlights a different noteworthy person and the place they love most. For instance, actor Morgan Freeman opines about the Caribbean, whereas film executive Sherry Lansing gushes about Venice, Italy. Others, including Jerry Seinfeld, Loretta Lynn, and Sandra Day O’Connor, prefer places close to home and close to their hearts.
