If you are a theater buff like Tom Covello, the leading designer of the Celebrations Design Group exhibit (345 S. Morris Ave., Crum Lynne, PA 19022), then this year’s Paris theme calls to mind one of the most famous plays of all time, “The Phantom of the Opera.”
“As soon as the theme was announced, I knew I wanted to do “Phantom.” The next step was just a matter of doing some research in order to pick what scene we wanted to capture.”
As you walk up to the exhibit, let the dark atmosphere and candlelight transport you to the recesses of the Paris Opera House and the masked Phantom’s dark underground passage. Flower-covered arches and 500 red roses remind viewers of the romance and eeriness of the famous story.
Whether you are a theater enthusiast or not, the Angel of Music is sure to call you toward this evocative and mysterious exhibit by Celebrations Design Group.
