Floral Gondola

Set-up week is off to a great start and Show Designer Sam Lemheney just shooed us away from the gondola because it’s not ready yet. This authentic 1890 wooden gondola will be turned into a floral wonderland by Jamie Rothstein Distinctive Floral Designs Inc., who is creating a Venice-inspired exhibit, “Bella Notte.”

Visitors will be able to climb over a stone bridge and look out over a secret scene: a gondola rocking gently on a canal, a decorative bridge leading to a small palace, and a colorful garden hidden behind walls. I can’t wait to see what this will look like by the end of the week. To learn more about Jamie, please visit her website. To learn more about the gondola, which is 36 feet long and available for rent, check out http://www.gondolaman.com

Oooohhhh, I can’t wait to see this!

I visited Italy last summer and Venice was my favorite place.
