There’s no such thing as snow days for the students at Abraham Lincoln High School, at least not for those participating in the 2010 Flower Show. These guys braved the worst weather in years in order to put together this excellent exhibit, which commemorates their new school building. (Desks from the school were brought in to add authenticity.)
Students implement the entire courtyard/classroom exhibit, from the early planning stages to the finishing touches. Sophomores grow the plants, juniors staff the exhibit, and seniors have the privilege of acting as designers. Youngsters like these are the future of the Flower Show, and we are wowed by what we see!
Special thanks to educational partner Monrovia for making this all happen!
