Longwood “Water Platters” are in the House


A few weeks ago, we posted a video about Longwood Gardens‘ legendary “Victoria water platters,” giant water plants that they were growing specially for the Flower Show. Despite the challenges of transporting these large, fragile plants, the garden wizards at Longwood successfully made the trip and here they are in the Explorers’ Garden display when visitors first enter the Show.

    Magnificent! Beautiful! Awesome! I’ve also seen these “water platters” at Fairchild Botanical Gardens in Miami, FL.
