Tickets to the 2011 Philadelphia International Flower Show, presented by PNC, are just a click away, thanks to online services now available at theflowershow.com.

The click-and-print tickets for the 2011 Show, “Springtime in Paris,” were unveiled recently at a celebratory press conference at the chic new Liberté restaurant in the Sofitel, Philadelphia’s luxury French hotel.

The party at the hotel was enhanced by a brigade of young people bearing flowery messages at locations throughout the city — including Reading Terminal Market, 5th and Market Streets, Suburban Station and 30th Street Station – and chances to win valuable prizes connected with the Show. Everyone can enter to win Flower Show tickets, accommodations at Sofitel, and other prizes at theflowershow.com.

The first group of winners were notified this week. The receipient of a one-night stay at the  Sofitel during the Flower Show and two tickets to the Show was Joseph Fox of Voorhees, N.J. Winners of Flower Show tickets were Diane Weinhold of Boyertown, Pa., Marcia Toms of Carlisle, Pa., and Mary Lui Yoder of Philadelphia. Congratulations to all!

More winners will be selected each month leading up to the Flower Show.

Visitors to the nation’s largest flower show will experience the gardens, landscapes and delectable pleasures of Paris. Daily and nightly entertainment and educational activities will focus on excellence in design and horticulture, with a decidely French joie de vivre.

Guests will enter the Flower Show through the 33-foot-high base of the Eiffel Tower, then be transported to romantic and elegant scenes of Paris through a host of remarkable gardens. Parisian parks in full bloom, gardens of lilac, lavendar and roses, and blooming topiary animals will lead to the Cabaret Stage, where lively performances will include can-can dancers, singers and musicians set among the iconic images of Paris.

Proceeds from the Philadelphia International Flower Show benefit PHS and fund its unique initiatives, including a region-wide campaign to plant one million trees in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware; and City Harvest, which provides fresh produce for more than a thousand underserved families each week.

Click-and-print tickets for the Flower Show, including special family and Supersaver packages, are now available online.  For more information and to purchase tickets, visit theflowershow.com.
