From Grape Vine to the Table

In the Tables class, the Rose Tree Gardeners took a blue ribbon on Saturday for this winning display, “Postcard from Italy.” The judges simply said: Bellisimo!

Says flower-arranger Susan Essick, “We were trying to think up something unique for the table’s base, so I called up the Chadd’s Ford Winery. They said that they were just cutting down some old grape vines and we were welcome to come cut what we needed. Voila!–the perfect base for an Italian table setting.”
